Welcome
I am Assistant Professor in Economics (non-tenure track) at the Center for Economic Studies at LMU Munich.
I am also Leader of the Junior Research Group "The Economics of Social Media" at the ifo Institute for Economic Research.
I currently serve as CESifo Academic Coordinator and as Scientific Coordinator of the CESifo Working Paper Series.
I completed my PhD in 2020 at the University of Cologne.
My research lies at the intersection of industrial organization and political economy. I am primarily interested in media, platforms, and digital transformation, with a focus on social media and media bias. I usually work with web-scraped observational data, but I also develop theoretical models and conduct online, lab, and field experiments.
